The Nobel Institute

Within the Nobel Assembly organization, the Medical Nobel Committee is in charge of the evaluation process for the Nobel Prize; and the Medical Nobel Institute for conferences, symposia and lectures organized by the Assembly. The Secretary-General of the Nobel Assembly is also director of the Medical Nobel Institute. The staff at the Nobel Office provides administrative service for the Institute and for conference organizers. The Board of the Nobel Institute is elected by the Nobel Assembly, with one representative from the Board for Research of Karolinska Institutet.
